A Tea-rrific time at Arabian Tea House
One of my favorite places in Dubai is the Arabian Tea House. This cozy restaurant, which is located at the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, is a must-visit when in the city. I’ve been here twice, and the experience is always homey and warm. It’s a perfect setting for alfresco gatherings, especially during wintertime.
When I went here the first time, I was able to try one of the breakfast trays, which I got to share with four of my friends. We also ordered the Jasmine Blooming Tea, which to me, is always fun to watch. It's so animated!
On my second visit, I brought my friend from the UK to try their dessert and hot tea. This time, I tried the Lequimat, which is like a plain, fried donut. It was surprisingly good and a great complement to our hot Jasmine blooming tea. Yes, I ordered it again! Not only did it look captivating, but it also tasted good.
The local eatery was packed with customers as we came just in time for lunch. But we’re glad we got seated after waiting a good 15 minutes, given that we came during a weekend, too. Anyway, the staff was nice and friendly to us despite the busyness in the restaurant and the influx of patrons. Plus, my friend enjoyed the ambiance and vibe of the place.
When it's safe to go out again, make sure to bring your family and friends here for a cup of tea (if you haven't yet). And while you're around, go and explore the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood.
Explore & Be Free (in the comfort of your home, for now!)
