I used to master the art of packing lately but lately since I am also rushing to pack my stuff I just bring extra clothes just in case I miss on something.

Hmmm. I really do pack light when I travel but only when I travel with family members because with them I'm not embarrassed to have only one pair of pants that I recycle over and over again :D

ReplyDeleteThis would be great for frequent travelers. Yet, its hard for me to do this as I do always carry my DSLR which is almost as heavy as my baby. :D

ReplyDeleteI travel light and just buy some other stuff to the place we are going .The problem is coming back home .I ended up travelling hubby and over baggage, lol.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this. I honestly dont know how to pack light. My bag is always full. Overnight or 1 day is not even in my vocabulary. Overnight means at least 3days to me. Haha!

ReplyDeleteHehehe.. yes Gemma, rolling our clothing pieces really helps save space. I've been doing it for years, and it always surprises how much space is left for me to use. :) And wow, 5-day trip!!! Have fun! :)

ReplyDeleteYou are right about that too.. but it also takes some form of discipline. I bring a backpack with me whenever I travel. But I make sure to leave some space too, especially for souvenirs that I may want to buy along the way.

ReplyDeleteI used to be an overpacker too and it would always break my back! Hahaha.. you should try to minimize the load inside your luggage/bag if you can. It would also help to plot out your outfit for each day of your travel. :)
