Admiring Manila Bay's Beautiful Sunset At Harbor Square

When Rubel and I reached our 70th month last October, we decided to do something special for that date. And since I was craving for a nice dinner setup, we chose to meet at Harbor Square right after work. But as soon as we reached the port, the stench from the bay reeked that we ended up eating at Army Navy (2nd floor). It was actually a good decision to move upstairs since a panoramic view of Manila bay looked more spectacular from where we sat (Manila's famous sunset and skyline are best seen from the top).

I love Manila Bay despite its polluted air, scattered trash and spoiled black waters. And I'll always be caught in awe with its many other wonders.

I was also amazed as to how some people were trying to catch fish from the natural harbor. Regardless of their intention to cast fish, they all seemed to enjoy their time by the cove.

The sun was slowly fading away that afternoon. But before the sun completely disappeared, Rubel and I took some pictures by the cove. Here's some of our photos.

We also wanted to visit the Cultural Center of the Philippines, which was just across Harbor Square. But since we got beat up from all the day's work, we just decided to call it a night. Of course, we ended our date by sealing it with a kiss, and by blowing well wishes in the air for more fruitful years to come.

How about you, how do you spend your special moments with your loved ones?
