Wrapping Up 2017: Of Positive Emotions, Major Transitions And Self-Reflection

My 2017 has been charged with a lot of positive emotions, major transitions, and self-reflection. A period filled with bonds tested, friendships rekindled, memories collected, dreams realized and plans fulfilled. It's been a good season. No, scratch that. It's been a damn good year!

This year has certainly been good to me in terms of travel. A lot more doors have opened for me that it was impossible not to feel blessed and grateful for the rush of opportunities that came pouring my way. There may have been plenty of unforgettable trips worth mentioning. But the ones that were spent in Antipolo, Baguio, Panay Island, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Georgia topped my list.

This year has also been good for my personal growth and maturity. Leaving the comforts of home and my support system to fulfill a much bigger role in life was the best decision that I've ever made. It may have been the greatest challenge of my entire existence. But it has definitely given me the biggest reward of all - forever with my soulmate (10 years in the making!). Yes, it's true. Love does and will conquer all.

I am very much thankful to the Lord for the rocky start of 2017, for it has led me to traverse the smooth road that I've transitioned to now. Here's to looking forward to a much brighter year ahead. I'm ready for you 2018!
