Dubai Boat Tour: Aboard the El Mundo Catamaran
Getting tagged to come along a party on a chartered boat, even on short notice, was one for the books. It was one of those impromptu events that you’re likely to grab and go to because you rarely get an opportunity to experience it for free. So when my friend MJ got invited to attend a birthday celebration of a friend, she immediately asked Mane and me if we wanted to go with her. Of course, we said yes. We were with one another the entire day already, so what better way to cap off the day than to spend a lovely night onboard a beautiful catamaran boat.
We were set to sail by the marina dock nearest Business Bay, Dubai. We got there around 7 PM, as instructed. But only started our cruise a few hours later. The three of us weren’t expecting to go aboard a yacht, so we didn’t dress suitably (we could have used some layered clothing). It was still wintry at the time, so we froze a little as we sailed along Dubai’s famous canal. Good thing the glasses of red wine, which was delicious, helped warm my body.
I loved the entire experience of being on the spacious El Mundo Catamaran boat (booked via boatcharter.ae). Not only were the owners very accommodating, but they also welcomed each and everyone with good food and cheers. It was a chilly night, but we were all kept warm by their generosity and hospitality.
It was my first time to ride a yacht, more so, sail through the Dubai Canal at night. The scenery may have been dark, but the lights from the surrounding buildings and establishments made up for it. Plus, the famous bridges by the creek lit up in different colors, as it danced right through the boat. It was magical, to say the least. I simply had the best time with my girls that night.
If you're in Dubai and looking for a different way to see the City of Superlatives, consider booking the El Mundo Catamaran with your family and friends. You can book your boat tour by heading to boatcharter.ae to see their rates and other packages.
