A Collection Of Starbucks City Mugs! ♥

I just wanted to share my love of collecting Starbucks City Mugs! ♥

Yes! These babies makes me smile each and every time I see them. I've actually been to each one of these destinations except for NYC, Florida, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (gift from family and friends) -- all of which are also listed on my must-see-places!

I'm actually missing a few more city mugs (mugs from Baguio, Batangas, Boracay, Naga, Pampanga, Tagaytay, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Pattaya, Thailand). So whoever wants to surprise me on my birthday this November, those missing destination mugs will surely make me the happiest girl! :)

Thank you in advance? =P

Hello Sky Summer!! :) So nice to see you drop-by. :) And yes, sana nga meron din SB mugs ang mga cities na yan.. Oh, and I'm going to HCMC and SR this November. I heard na baka magbukas na ang SB sa HCMC that same month *a big SANA!*.. sa Cambodia naman parang malabo pa magkaron :(

Do you collect SB mugs din ba? :)

OH Cute goodies!! WOW I should start collecting Starbucks mugs from different Countries and places na rin pala! Ang cute pala tingnan!! WAAA

Mai_Flores said...

I actually thought about collecting ref magnets too and shot glasses.. But then I decided to just stick to something specific, such as these SB mugs. :)

By the way, I love your 40ish list!! My beau and I are thinking of posting ours as well.. hehe! :)

We also have a mini cups collection from Starbucks since hubby travels a lot with his work. They are really nice to look at, isn't it?

Mai_Flores said...

great collection I envy your collection

Wow, that's a lot of Starbucks mugs! I'm likewise thinking of doing the same thing not just because they're nice to look at but also because of the story that each mug has. :)

I know this maybe a silly idea but if those mugs are mine, I would be setting up an online novelty items store sooner or later. But that's just me :) ~ http://the-urban-walker.blogspot.com/

Let's start a starbucks mug trading group. => Of the places I've been to, I'm missing the farther areas such as Sydney, Paris and Netherlands. The rest I have except Cambodia (who doesn't have a starbucks yet) My friends have also taken initiative in sending me mugs from their areas.

Hey sis you forget DAVAO. Heehehehe. Anyway you have great collections of mugs there.

Mai_Flores said...

Hi sis! Actually, wala pa akong Davao kasi hindi pa ako nakakapunta doon. :) The list of mugs that I'm still missing are the ones that I've been to before. Di lang ako nagkaroon ng chance to buy those during my trips. :)

Mai_Flores said...

That's actually a gread idea, Franc! But as much as possible, I want to get mugs from the places that I've been to already. But of course, I wouldn't mind being gifted with new city mugs, regardless if I haven't visited those yet. :)

Mai_Flores said...

I actually thought of that before, Dimaks. Believe it or not, eBayers are already doing it. But their mug rates are way off the roof! Most sellers put in about 200-300% mark-ups! Well, these are in fact, premium items. So I completely understand too.

Mai_Flores said...

So true Eunice! That's one of the reasons why I started collecting these mugs -- to make me remember. :)

Mai_Flores said...

Thanks! :) Why not start your own collection too? :)

Wow! great collection. Eh ako thrice pa lang atang nakapunta sa Starbucks, not that price there is high, kaya lang I really hate coffee talaga. Never pa nga akong nakatikim kahit sip lang.

My husband and I collect so many things not only for genuine interest but also for sentimental value so I'm afraid we will not have enough space left for ourselves very soon. Your collection of mugs has a story to tell and that it what I like about collections.

Mai_Flores said...

I have the same sentiments here, Ms. Teresa. :)

Mai_Flores said...

Wow! You're the first person that I know who doesn't like coffee.. How about tea, sir? :)

MsKathyKenny said...

We have the same collection. I have Baguio. You can have it if you'll get it from me :)

Demi Barbra Angeles said...

I'm curious how many mugs are there all in all :)

I hope I can get you one that says Dubai to join your collection... but i wonder how to send it you hahahaha unless you know somebody from here that I can send it through or we have a common friend hmmmmmmm... courier service will be more expensive than the mug itself :)

Rizza Javier said...

You've really been around. Maybe I should start collecting something...

Mai_Flores said...

Hihi.. where do you live? Hehe J/K! The thought of you offering your Baguio mug is already a nice gesture.. thank you for thinking of me. :)

Mai_Flores said...

Hi Demi! YOu can check here: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Guide_to_Collectible_Mugs/Starbucks_City_Mugs =)

Mai_Flores said...

Hahaha.. don't worry about it, Ana! No need.. The very gesture itself made me smile already. Thanks for thinking of me. :)

Most travelers love to collect ref magnets like my sister but you collect mugs particularly Starbucks mugs. I hope you will update us with the quantity until you have enough mugs to share even one for me. :)

Mai_Flores said...

I have a Philippine mug! I'm planning on including it in one of my giveaways before the year ends.. hope you can join that Ms. Marri! :)

Mai_Flores said...

Yep! Except for a few ones that I haven't been to yet. :)

didsy said...

Hi!! Do you only collect the mugs from the places you've been to? Or have you started trading also for other countries?
I started with only the countries I have been to, but have now branched out. It is very addicting!

Hi +dids consing! How are you?

First of all, thank for dropping-by! :) Glad to see you here. :)

Anyhoo.. I'm only collecting those that I've already been to. But there are a few places that I haven't visited yet that are already included in my collection. These were given to me as gifts, particularly NYC, Orlando and KL. :) There are actually a few more mugs missing.. the only way I could get them is to visit those cities again.. someday! Hehehe! :)

Christian | Lakad Pilipinas said...

Nice collection you got there! Like you, I also only get the ones where I've been to already. And similarly yung mga meron ako na di ko pa napuntahan, mga gifts lang din :)

Mai_Flores said...

Hi Akira! It's nice to know that you collect keychains from your travels. :) As for your question.. did you mean PTB, Pinoy Travel Bloggers? You can check out the rules of the group from this Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/pinoytravelbloggers/

Although they have a small requirement: For a blog to be considered a travel blog, it must have at least 20 posts with a minimum 80 percent of posts about travel. Good luck! :)
