A November rendezvous in Singapore
My last day in SIN was dragging my feet. I wasn't ready to go back home yet. But then I was running out of money, and of course, I missed my family in MNL too. So I woke up real early to fix my stuff, then headed out to the bus station at Compassvale. Carlo, my cousin Kate's husband, gave me instructions on the commute that I was about to take. I no longer had to take the MTR, since I was told that it would eat more of my time. I was actually nervous about taking the bus alone, given the heavy luggage that I had in tow. But then I had no choice but to stay focused for the whole hour's drive. But God was good, as he directed me safely to the right terminal! =D Yahoo for that!
So when I got cleared at the immigration area, I immediately bought myself some late lunch. There was a Kopi Tiam in the middle of the terminal lounge, that offered only a few food choices.
Anyhow, after lunch I went around the Duty Free area to shop for extra souvenirs... only to be redirected to this lovely confection store (which I was really avoiding). And soooooooo.... I finally got me this big bar of Belgian Chocolate (it was a Lindt product that I was constantly eyeing and contemplating on getting), and then waited for my final check-in. Then again, I easily got bored with all the waiting, so I went window-shopping some more.
Overall, my week long vacation was refreshing. It actually woke up the lazy version of me, as it was super hard to get back into work-mode. Then again, I needed to save up for the remaining trips that I had planned for the new year (so I shoved myself back to work!). Of course, I would never forget my usual travel expense sheet. I wouldn't be able to track all of my expenses if it weren't for my OC-ness! =)
You can open the link to my TRAVEL EXPENSE SHEET to check for the Universal Studios rate, the Kimchi dinner that we ordered at Holland Village, the H&M purchases that I made and more.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed tagging along with my SIN stories. Until the next one. Here's to a few more adventures for the new year! <3
