Welcome Jetstar Japan’s new low-fare services from Manila to Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya!

Good news, travel bugs! Traveling to the "Land of the Rising Sun" is now made more affordable with the latest international offering from Jetstar Japan. Japan's largest low cost carrier (LCC) has finally come to Manila. They’ve recently announced that they would start offering their low-fare services from three of their Japanese ports (Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya), which will fly direct to and fro Manila. These three Manila routes will begin their operations at NAIA Terminal 1 starting mid-March.

Jetstar Japan also kicked-off the launch of their services by participating at the PTAA 23rd Travel Tour Expo, where 2,000 seats per destination are being sold for a special sale price of PHP 1,998 (one-way, inclusive of taxes and fees except travel tax of PHP 1,620).

Jetstar Japan's announcement of their 'everyday low fares' at the travel expo will surely entice not just Filipino travelers and expats in Japan, but also Japanese tourists who are excited about exploring the Philippines -- a popular destination all year-round.

According to the Chairman of Jetstar Japan, Mr. Masaru Kataoka, "currently, more than 224,000 Filipino expatriates reside in Japan. Our research has shown that Filipino holiday-makers or those wanting to visit family members are most excited about this new low fares travel option to Japan". They may not provide inflight entertainment as of this time. But you can definitely look forward to readily available inflight magazines, as well as on-board meals and merchandise for sale. Without a doubt, an influx of passengers, particularly Filipino and Japanese travelers, will surely take advantage of this amazing deal now that a new LCC has been launched.

The Philippines already has its fair share of low-cost carriers. But when asked what sets Jetstar Japan apart from their competitors, Mr. Masaru Kataoka positively responds by ensuring the continued prioritization of passenger safety (Jetstar is considered as one of the safest airlines since Quantas history). They’ve also managed to build good connections here in Manila, which has been a great advantage for both ends.

If you’re heading to the PTAA 23rd Travel Tour Expo this weekend (February 5-7), make sure to drop-by Jetstar’s booth (325-326) to learn more about their launch sale-fares and other offerings.
